Support Research on the Usefulness of Crowd Sourced Data

The good turn out at yesterday's symposium hosted by the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (NZ node) and the New Zealand Geospatial Office highlighted a strong interest in research on applying geospatial information. With crowd sourcing identified by attendees as a topic of particular interest for research, some of you may be interested in helping a student group conduct a crowd-sourced geo survey.

A group of students at the University of Muenster's Institute of Geoinformatics (Germany) would appreciate your help with a brief survey about photo geotagging. The survey is part of a study to learn the value of uploaded user-generated content (in this case Flickr photos and metadata about them).
