NEWS: Tēnā koutou and thanks for taking an interest in my first contribution to the New Zealand Geospatial Strategy website. I'm Mary Sue Severn and I'm the new director of the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI). Personally, I've never blogged, tweeted or knowingly been "followed" before so I'm covering new ground here. NEWS: I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Sue Severn to the New Zealand Geospatial Office (NZGO) as Director CRCSI New Zealand. This key role will be responsible for establishing and growing a New Zealand node for the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI) programme based in Australia. read more

NEWS: The Australia / New Zealand spatial sector will gain access to new data, technologies and services through the AU$32.2 million funding of a major research program in satellite positioning and remote sensing technologies, announced by the Australian Government in August. read more
