Napier City Council have started using the Pitney Bowes MapInfo Exponare system to locate and report incidents of graffiti around the city.
The system uses standardised 'x' and 'y' coordinates to provide exact location data. The system also allows users to upload photos and comments, and will tell users if a particular instance of graffiti has already been reported.
The Napier City Council uses other Pitney Bowes mapping software to manage information on its sewer, stormwater and water infrastructure, and to organise its planning and regulatory information such as building and resource consents.
