How existing systems and products can contribute to SDI

This chapter is the result of collaboration with spatial industry vendors, open source communities and the New Zealand Geospatial Office (NZGO). The currency of the information is reliant on the submission of updates from these sources. We encourage suppliers of SDI conforming applications to provide updated material and contact nzgo@linz.govt.nz.

Components of this chapter:

Readers are advised to use due diligence, evaluate accuracy, completeness and relevance of the information for their own purposes, and to confirm details with original sources as the data surrounding products can change rapidly. New product releases, support for new standards and other factors can mean that the information contained in this document can become out-of-date.

The contents of this chapter have been volunteered, using a template developed to help achieve a consistent and broad overview of available SDI conforming applications. Submitters are asked to become familiar with these content templates.

We are always interested to learn of new products that contribute to participation in SDI. Please contact the NZGO if you are interested to contribute.

The NZGO and LINZ appreciate the support of the spatial industries and its communities in participating in this way.

Note: the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) also publishes information about products that implement open standards, including some who have been tested for compliance with the standards.
