Recruitment for the Geospatial Standards Leader position within the New Zealand Geospatial Office (NZGO) has been extended. The closing date for this position has been moved to 5:00pm, Monday 26 July.
The Geospatial Standards Leader represents a key leadership role responsible for the Interoperability stream of work within the NZGO work programme. The successful candidate will partner with standards bodies, government, industry, academia, and non-government organisations to develop geospatial interoperability through applying appropriate geospatial standards.
The Geospatial Standards Leader will help manage national input into geospatial standards development processes and will support the geospatial community as they implement these standards. The role will also support education activities to increase awareness of the benefits of geospatial standards to business processes within government and the private sector.
