Geography Awareness Week falls on the third week of each November. While the focus is on promoting geography education in the United States, there are a range of online resources available to make learning about geography easy for everyone.
Areas of educational focus for the week include:

- physical geography / environments
- geo-technologies
- global hotspots
- careers.
